Fielder’s Choice Capital (“Fielder’s”) is a Canadian investment firm created to acquire and operate an exceptional small business. We are focused on partnering with a business owner who is seeking a thoughtful succession plan and cares deeply about the future of their company, employees, customers, and legacy.
Our approach is long-term, hands-on, and built around continuity. We are not looking to acquire a business, make short-term changes, and move on. We are looking to preserve what has made the company successful, support the team already in place, and continue building the business with discipline and care.

We intend to be active operators, not passive financial buyers. We will work closely with the existing management team to understand the business, protect its culture, and identify practical opportunities for long-term growth.

We are seeking to acquire a profitable, established business based in Canada.
Our target criteria include:
Canadian-headquartered business
$250K to $1.5M of Adjusted EBITDA
Profitable and cash-flow positive
Durable revenue with recurring or repeat customer demand
Strong management team or clear transition plan
Low or manageable customer concentration
Defensible market position
History of stable performance
Opportunity for continued long-term growth
We are industry-flexible and focused first on business quality. We are especially interested in companies with essential products or services, loyal customers, strong local or niche market positions, and a team capable of continuing the company’s success after a thoughtful ownership transition.
We are open to a range of transaction structures, including full ownership transitions, founder transitions over time, management rollover, and partial seller rollover where appropriate.
